Information Collected
iTG Services' registration, surveys, contests, and
other promotions ask users to provide their contact
information and certain demographic information. iTG
Services may also gather anonymous information that
does not personally identify you, but that may be
helpful for marketing purposes or for improving the
services we offer to our customers. The iTG Services
online registration form requires our customers to
provide contact information (such as name), unique
identifiers (address and email address) and
demographic information (age), all of which is user
profile information. Contact information is used to
communicate with Members for purposes such as
gathering survey information, billing for requested
value-added services, notification of service
upgrades, and changes to existing services. Unique
identifiers (such as e-mail and street addresses)
are used to verify a Member's identity and to set up
record system accounts. Additionally, customers who
choose to purchase products or services may be asked
to provide financial information such as credit card
numbers for billing purposes. All financial
information is kept confidential. A third party
financial institution will be used to process credit
card orders. We may provide some User Information to
third parties that we use to perform certain
functions for us -- for example, credit card numbers
are sent to a processing company for credit
authorization and billing. In these cases, the
companies are authorized to use User Information for
the sole purpose of completing iTG Services
business. They are not authorized to release this
information to any other parties. iTG Services uses
Members' IP addresses to help diagnose server
problems and to administer its web site. A Member's
IP address also may be used to gather broad
demographic information.
What does iTG Services do with collected
information?
Registration information is used to better tailor
our content, services, and product offerings to our
users' needs and to enable us to provide above
satisfactory customer care. Contact information is
used to communicate new iTG Services offers and
services of our affiliates to our customers in order
to enhance their overall experience with iTG
Services. We will also use this information to
contact winners of promotional offers. This
information may also be used to identify customers
who have lost or forgotten their user passwords.
User interaction with content and product offerings
enables us to better tailor our content and services
to our users' needs. iTG Services may utilize third
party data to enrich the user experience. iTG
Services is determined to providing the highest
level of service for its customers, and this
information will help us to understand what is of
value to our customers. iTG Services uses the
above-described information to tailor the content we
deliver to suit our customers' needs and help our
partners better understand the demographics of our
users. We will not sell personally identifiable
information about individual users to any party not
affiliated with iTG Services.
iTG Services' web site has security measures in
place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of
the information under our control. Normally, we
require our users to transmit credit card
information for the purpose of sign up or to make
changes to their credit card information. In these
cases, we transmit that credit card number in an
encrypted format using SSL (secure socket layer),
the industry-standard. However, e-mail should not be
considered as a secure means of communication even
when encrypted. The information can only be as
secure as the encryption method. Furthermore, please
don't forget that no computer system or network
should be considered safe from intrusion. Even
though we make every effort possible and we take
many precautions to protect our systems and our
servers, we cannot guarantee the security of any
data on any server, including "secure servers".
Opt-In
If you become a registered user of iTG Services and
choose to "Opt-In" to receive promotional
information, we may send you information about
exciting new products or services. This information
may come from iTG Services, its partners, or other
interested and selected third parties. In order to
help identify and deliver these special promotional
offers to you, if you have opted in to receive
promotional information and offers, iTG Services may
share the personal information you have provided us
with third parties who are offering such
opportunities. In addition, the personal information
may be combined with other personally identifiable
information (such as demographic information and
past purchase information) available from our
records and other sources.
Privacy of Communications
iTG Services guarantees that it will not monitor,
edit or disclose any telephone calls (collectively,
"Communications") that authorized Users of the
Service send or receive via the company. Except as
may be required by law or legal process or for
customer care purposes, when a customer is in
contact with a Customer Care Representative.
However, as with many other forms of communication,
the privacy of Communications sent and received via
the Service cannot be guaranteed by iTG Services.
iTG Services will not send you any unsolicited
messages except: A) New Users may be sent one or
more Service "Welcomes" or update messages
explaining features of, or providing additional
information about, the Service; B) iTG Services may
send you information about the Service, your
account, or about other iTG Services offerings.
However, neither iTG Services nor its affiliates or
advertisers will send you unsolicited messages
regarding any other offers or advertisements at any
time without your prior approval to receive such
offers from iTG Services, our affiliates or
advertisers ("opt-in"). iTG Services is only a
conduit for the distribution and receipt of your
Communications and will not divulge any of your
personal information or disclose the contents of any
Communications unless, while acting under a good
faith belief that in its sole discretion such action
is necessary, to (1) comply with governmental
authorities when legally required to do so; (2)
protect and defend the rights or property of iTG
Services; or (3) act to protect the interests of our
Users or anyone else that could be harmed by any
activities in which the Service has been utilized.
Security
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this
privacy policy, due to the existing regulatory and
technical environment, we cannot guarantee that any
of your User Information and Communications will
never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described
in this Privacy Policy. For instance, third parties
may unlawfully intercept or access your transmission
or reception of Communications. Although we use
industry standard practices to protect your privacy,
we do not promise or warrant that your personally
identifiable User Information or Communications will
remain 100% private. If there is a problem, iTG
Services will use commercially reasonable efforts to
promptly determine and correct it, but iTG Services
cannot make any guarantees that it will be
successful in doing so.
